I would like start off by thanking Bread & Salt team for the perfect service they provide, in addition to the delicious shawrma and the other appetizers they’ve offered today, i have never tasted such a delicious and a clean food like that before, And i would like to recommend each person that hasn’t tried this restaurant to try it as fast as he/she can because it is definitely worth to try.

Amazing food and staff. Very friendly atmosphere and owners. If you In Amsterdam and looking for shawarma this is the place you need to visit.
Since I knew this restaurant it becomes my only place to eat while I’m visiting Amsterdam, I highly recommend it if you want to taste the BEST shawarma here, don’t forget to try the falafel as well.
In addition I want to thank all the people there for their hospitality & kindness.

Amsterdam was sorely lacking in really, really good shwarma with housemade sauces and pickles. This was so SO good. I will be eating here regularly. The guys in there are really nice too. It was really affordable too.

Got the bright and early, they were open! Fantastic food, the hot chocolate was made from chocolate solids as opposed to powder which was fantastic, the buns are delicious and they have so many varieties. A total of 4 seats and 2 tables outside, no where else to sit. A tad pricy compared to other places but quality

Small patisserie in Gamla Stan. Their kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) are great, but these are outshone by their fragrant kardemummabullar (cardamom bun) which are just outstanding. Less typically, they also do a mandelbulle (almond bun) reminiscent of a croissant aux amandes but big oozy and sticky with whole almonds. Brilliant.

Small outpost of the chain off of a main drag and in a main square of Gamla Stan. This is strictly to go—it’s a tiny shop with no seats at all. Hint: head down towards the water if you want a larger location with seating. This is the perfect place to grab a Bulle pastry and a hot drink to go, especially at the start of your day as it is open early and nearly empty since the majority of the tourists aren’t out yet. There were also some pre-packaged sandwiches and salads if you came later in the day. Friendly and fast service; only critique is that my latte seemed to vary in temperature each day, ranging from scalding to just lukewarm.
