Tucked away in a small lane on the West Bank in Luxor.

The cafe was pleasant with nice music playing.
The cinnamon tea was the only thing I ordered and it was nice.
The people seemed polite and chill.
Was relaxing and Great to end the day with something soothing such as the Wannas Art Cafe.

Got here after visiting the Sandouk shop - rather random. But the art gallery is really nice - although we did not buy anything (found it a bit too expensive) but really liked the guy running the place who was also the chef. Ended up eating there and the food was just so damn good. We had an onion soup, arabic salad, baba ganouch, rice with curry and mousakka. Although it sounds like A LOT of food, the plates are small. So, if you are hungry order more :)
Am giving this a 4 because the food took more than 1h to prepare as the guy was cooking it fresh. In case you are not hungry, this is okay… but we were starving by the end.

Delicious food and really nice art! There was a really good exhibition when we were there, and the artist was sitting around with his friends playing music and singing, and invited us to join the circle. Wonderfully friendly atmosphere.
You absolutely need to try the aubergine bake, it's fantastic.

Went in the quiet/hot season of June. An art gallery with more art in the cafe, friendly cats roaming about, healthy and delicious vegetarian food, a very pleasant owner, and not needing to wander through town and have people ask you for boats/balloons/restaurants/tours. What more could you want?

We liked the cats there and tasty desserts. Haven’t tried the main menu but I would return to this place again.
