We made a reservation and were seated at a corner table which was nice so we can hear each other better. Our waiter made our night. Unfortunately forgot his name, but Brazilian lived in New Jersey and Florida. He is very personable and enthusiastic about making the most of our experience. He is also knowledgeable with the cuts of meat and offered us advice to get the porterhouse instead of the T-bone to accompany the Sunday roast we shared. The bartender also came by to clarify what drink I wanted and I learned that martini with sweet vermouth is a martinez! Even as we were educated on things, the interactions felt friendly and open. The Sunday roast was melt in your mouth tender and the steak was tasty and fatty. Between the four of us we ordered bone marrow, a salad, a steak, and two roasts. It was definitely a good amount of food but for me it was perfect because I purposely skipped breakfast. I am very appreciative of my time at Hawksmoor as it was our last restaurant visit before flying out for our next destination. Thank you for the great experience!
